East India Company1/12 Anna were Minted two times only, first, they were Minted by the Bombay and Madras mints in 1835 later again they were Minted for a second time by the Calcutta mint in 1848, so the Calcutta Minted coins were very less so they are known as a rare coin.

OBVERSE SIDE:-

                              On the obverse side of this coin we find the Royal symbol of the East India Company where we see two lions holding flags and a small lion on top, in-between you see the British flag, and at the bottom, you find the year of issue and no mint mark on the coin.

REVERSE SIDE:-

                            On the reverse side of this coin, we find the legend all around the corner of the coin, in the center we find 1/12 ANNA in English and in Persian saying 1/12 ANNA.

SPECIAL POINTS ABOUT THIS COIN:-

1. 1/12 ANNA coins were printed only two times.
2. They printed Bombay and Madras mints for the first time and for the second time they printed Calcutta mint but in very fewer quantities.
3. The weight difference between two coins in 1835 and 1848 is nearly 0.03 g.
4. The 1/12 ANNA of 1848 was printed only about 1 crore nearly.
5. As they were made of copper most of the coins will be rusted so to find coins in nice UNC condition is very difficult they will easily get rusted.
