HISTORY OF THIS COIN:-

     William- IV gold 2- Mohur coin is very rare; and it was printed in the year 1835 in a very less quantity of about 8000 total number coins, which were made of high-quality gold. 

     Later in 1836, the East India Company started facing a problem after one year of releasing the 2 Mohur gold coin, which has more worth or value than its base value of 5 Indian rupees. This made East India Company get in lose so they stopped the manufacturing of 2-Mohur gold coins in the year 1836, So from 1836 the gold and silver coins were stopped manufacturing or minting in India.

On the obverse side, you see that portrait of King William - IV facing right, and the date of the year 1835 below the portrait, and the name " WILLIAM II II KING" Around the portrait of the king. 
The Technique or edge of this coin is milled.

REVERSE SIDE:-

On the reverse side of the king, you see a lion advancing to the left in front of the palm tree" and the name " EAST INDIA COMPANY" surrounding it.

IMPORTANT NOTE:-

1. This is very rare; only about 8000 coins were printed.
2. These coins were only Minted by the Calcutta mark.
3. On the initial observer side you see the truncation of the neck of the king.
4. This coin is very rare and costly.
5. The special thing about this coin is it contains a name below the lion symbol in "Persia" which says "two Mohura".
